This conversation with @christinecaine was one I won’t forget. 🩷

The enemy doesn’t have to destroy what you’re building to get you off assignment.

Sometimes he just needs you distracted.

Consumed with the wrong thing.
Questioning what God already told you.
Losing your peace over something that was never supposed to have that much power in the first place.

I think as women who lead, we have to get really good at recognizing what is trying to take our attention away from what God has actually entrusted to us.

John 10:10 tells us exactly what the enemy comes to do: steal, kill and destroy.

But that is NOT where the verse ends.

Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

That changes the way I want to lead.

I don’t want to give fear more authority than it deserves.
I don’t want to lose days to offense.
I don’t want comparison deciding how I show up.
And I definitely don’t want distraction pulling me away from an assignment I prayed for.

There is too much purpose attached to our obedience.

So protect your peace.
Know what God has asked you to build.
And don’t let something temporary talk you out of something eternal.

The enemy doesn’t get the final word. Jesus does.

And THAT is how I want to lead. 🩷
