Business lessons from King Solomon

Eileen was taught this perspective from her mentor, Myron Golden, and I think you’re going to be amazed at how clearly God shows us how to show up in business after I share it with you here.
Everything we need to know comes from 1 Kings 4:29-34.
In this passage, God gives Solomon “wisdom and great insight,” so we know Solomon’s actions are considered wise and Godly.
And here are the things we know Solomon did in his capacity as the wisest King on earth:
- He published a LOT of CONTENT (3,000 proverbs and 1,005 songs to be exact) to dispense goodness and wisdom.
- He was a SPEAKER who held large EVENTS.
- He COACHED and CONSULTED his peers.
- He was PAID for his wisdom and teaching.
Solomon wasn’t just wise…. He used his wisdom and knowledge to build WEALTH.
The God of the Old Testament (and the God of the New Testament) loves money! As my friend Eileen says, “Gold was in the ground in Genesis and God called it good!”
Wealth is part of God’s agenda. He wants more WEALTH in the hands of the RIGHTEOUS because He knows that’s how CHANGE and IMPACT are made.

How to build confidence and unleash YOU 2.0
Your confidence will immediately increase when you realize your inherent worth as a child of God.
But even knowing that we were created in God’s image and given specific skills and talents to fulfill His calling on our lives… many women struggle with their self-worth.
So what are you supposed to do when you KNOW who you are INSIDE… but you don’t know how to let her OUT?
It all comes down to one thing: ACTION.
You can’t think your way out of low self-esteem or poor self-worth.
You can’t wish your way into competence and confidence.
This change requires DOING.
This is why I always say: “Walk, talk, and act like it’s done until it’s done.”

You have to put your shoulders back and walk into a room with authority. Shake hands firmly and make eye contact. Speak like someone who knows what she’s talking about.
